Chiron Retrograde: Self-Discovery

Chiron Retrograde is happening July 11th and adding on to the karmic feeling of 2020. This transit will be in conjunction with Mars in Aries. Our pain might feel sharp and like a wake-up call, but this only gives us the will to tackle on the pain and keep moving. That’s the momentum from Mars in Aries, an unstoppable force that might feel overwhelming but once we get accustomed to it, we can use it to be initiators. Chiron Retrograde wants us to face the facts, or a warped version of it and it is up to us to see how we can truly heal and learn so that we can feel empowered for the next phase. Trust yourselves during this transit and you will see that with patience and a will to learn and grow, it will not be as challenging as some might make it out to be.

Aries – With Chiron in your sign, you will have to evaluate how your feelings now reflect what you have allowed yourself to endure in the past. Mars is also in your sign, so although this can feel like a frustrating time, you are in the perfect position to take action and want to go through the next steps of making changes to heal. Emotional intelligence will be the theme, which seems appropriate for this Cancer Season. You might feel back to normal after this transit; reclaiming your throne. It will be a period of harnessing your strength and power through dealing with the psychological.

Taurus – We have all been waiting for the effects of this transit and you might feel like a volcano ready to explode. Chiron is teaching you patience and guiding you to keep understanding your own limits. With Mars in Aries, this adds a little motivation and the fuel needed to not feel as closed off from the outer world. Bravery will show it’s face soon enough as you feel the inspiration from within that there is still some form of hope out there. Use this period to create and perfect, projects and goals you may have. Do not beat yourself up and most importantly, practice patience.

Gemini – As a Gemini, your source of communication might stem from the people you know. 2020 feels like a year that has kept us isolated and low on energy. With this Chiron transit, you might feel a bit of a disconnect from others. This is the perfect time to evaluate and work on those fears, to learn from them and take the steps needed to heal and grow. Mars in the sign of Aries for the next five months will resurface our pain but will help us get focused on taking action. Do your best to stay connected if you feel alone or hurt. But it is never a bad idea to take a break from social and meditate to reach self-discovery.

Cancer – It can feel like a very triumphant time for you, where you are focused on achievement and success, especially with this Mars in Aries transit. You may even briefly feel on top of the world, but then Chiron’s impact comes along, and it might make you second guess yourself. Do not let the failures of the past or the memories from long ago take control of your destiny. This is a moment of truth and a way to understand yourself better. opt to grow from why you are feeling this way and find ways to heal your ego and regain your confidence.

Leo – A period of self-discovery as you will be motivated to want to achieve more or to connect with some new spiritual guides. You are learning a lot about yourself and this Mars in Aries transit will be bringing you more motivation to pursue what you are generally interested in. However, this Chiron transit can feel like a set back as you question your goals and whether you should even consider these new ambitions as of yet. Reflecting on those hurts from the past can be a gateway to self-discovery. Try not to stop dreaming and do not doubt yourself. Focus on the success you want and aim for it.

Virgo – Expect those nightmares to resurface from the past. Chiron transits can feel like a storm that keeps growing until you have thoroughly explored why this impacts you in such a way. You can view this as a bit of a spiritual retreat, as it dives through one of your more powerful houses. With Mars in Aries here, this can add an additional layer, where you reflect on past relationships and the sharing of resources with current partners or an ex. Chiron here may open up wounds regarding how you have behaved from a relationship standpoint and whether you have learned from that. Forgive yourself and allow yourself to make the changes needed to grow once you have learned more about you.

Libra – This will be a trying time as you discover how Chiron has impacted the way that you relate to others. For those who are partnered, you will experience several eye-opening moments with this transit and Mars in Aries might add some fuel to the fire. The goal here is to let it all happen, to learn and to find steps to heal. The foundations of a great friendship and partnership might be rooted in communicating. Speaking on how you feel can work wonders as long as you are coming from a place with the intention of gaining more wisdom and strength.

Scorpio – You might be feeling overwhelmed by having to handle too many responsibilities that can bring back some memories from the past and that sense of déjà vu might leave you feeling uneasy. This current Mars in Aries transit might also contribute to the reminder of those wounds, but you will feel the motivation needed to not let it keep you down. Meditating and self-care are important now, since you will focus on achievement and success without noticing how it can wear you down. Be honest about how you are feeling with yourself and remember to take it easy; Rome was not built in a day and success takes time and does not happen overnight.

Sagittarius – There is a lot of action happening for Fire Signs with this Mars and Chiron transit. You will feel the benefits from Mars in Aries, fueling your drive and willingness to succeed but Chiron will amplify the feelings of a setback, of a need to make great change. You might be on the right path, but this will help you learn more about what it means to truly express yourself. These issues might connect to the way you communicate, not feeling good or intelligent enough to create. You must continue and go on without allowing the pain to stop you. Be aware, take charge and continue to build worlds with your words.

Capricorn – One of those transits that will shape you from here on out. You will be extremely connected to your roots during the Chiron Retrograde, learning from the past and how your home shaped who you are now. Saturn is still in your sign until the end of the year, adding more to the next evolutionary phase of Capricorns. Mars in Aries will bring out the fighters in all of you, making you want to blindly succeed without a care of how your actions might impact those around you. Take it easy during this transit, you might be prone to letting your emotions get the best of you, so do not go off on others without thinking about what you are going to say. Chiron wants you to be a diplomat, be wise and be the guiding force to those around you.

Aquarius – Here you will face how you view your own capacity when it comes to intellect and learning. Chiron might even make you want to change the way you communicate. However, with Mars in Aries also in the same sign for the next five months, you will find ways to keep fighting, keep succeeding and to regain that confidence needed when it comes to communication and expression. The pain rooted from the past and memories might resurface but this should not stop you. Tackle that and keep it moving. Chiron’s transit aims to build your confidence through pain. Once you heal or learn why you feel you have some setbacks, you will feel more confident in your abilities.

Pisces – What this Chiron transit aims to uncover is how you value yourself and how this can impact your relationship with others. Whether you see yourself in a negative or positive light, this Chiron transit will be eye opening regardless. You will have to focus on having your self esteem soaring. Mars in Aries will have you driven to succeed, to gain material success but you also should not let yourself get carried way with negative spending habits. Chiron wants you to be the best version of you; successful and confident. Abandon any negative notions of yourself that have stemmed from the past and focus on how amazing you are and the wonderful journey your successes will bring.

Chiron in Synastry through the Houses

Chiron teaches us so much about ourselves but when it comes to someone else’s Chiron connecting without our natal Chart, it is a new way to deal with the force and power from this comet. The magic we may have once saw in things would diminish briefly with Chiron but with time and patience, we can learn how to fall in love with it again. Chiron teaches us about value, through the “wound” we learn and appreciate what was there all along. In synastry, it is enhanced because your partner is the force that drives this out. “The Wounded Healer” presents an obstacle that can truly alter the dynamic in a relationship. Only love and patience can help both parties overcome the pain and with time they can grow stronger together through this binding experience.

Chiron in the First House – A mirror is shown with this position, teaching the 1st House person that there is more to them that was expected. The 1st House person will have to come to terms with their fears regarding their ego and self-esteem. Chiron is the mirror and the teacher. They will open the 1st House person’s eyes and make them see what they are capable of. With this placement, Chiron teaches their power the beauty in transformations and letting go of pain associating with their ego.

Chiron in the Second House – Chiron teaches the 2nd House person how to value themselves and to see their power. Learning about themselves is key and Chiron here allows for the second house person to dig deep and see the potential that they have and the wonderful things that they can create and build with a little faith in themselves. The Second House person begins to learn what it means to be responsible and to put themselves first since their ego will be cultivated.

Chiron in the Third House – Here, Chiron allows the 3rd House person to face their insecurity when it relates to the way that they express themselves and communicate. This can be a synastry aspect that empowers both parties. Chiron helps the 3rd house person heal any wounds inflicted to them by mentors growing up. The native will be able to stand up for themselves and learn to embrace their opinions with more confidence.

Chiron in the Fourth House – Your origin story is a prominent theme with this synastry aspect. Chiron brings up those old wounds that shaped who you are. The 4th House person sees Chiron as a constant reminder of the past and the aspects of themselves that they are not willing to let go of. This is a synastry aspect that takes patience but with time it helps to empower the 4th House person, allowing them to take lead their home and family without love and not fear.

Chiron in the Fifth House – With this synastry aspect, Chiron shows the 5th House person the impact and power of their creation. The native with the 5th House will begin to see their environment in all colors and modes. This is a creative aspect that comes with a lot pain and healing. The 5th House person sees the beauty that can be created after the tougher times. This is an aspect that gives both parties faith that a brighter tomorrow can exist through love and joy.

Chiron in the Sixth House – There will be a focus on the well-being of the 6th House person with this synastry aspect. Chiron teaches their partner what it means to consider self-care and being more focused on improving their organizational skills. At times, Chiron can feel critical, but this is to be expected. A mature Chiron will help their partner be more motivated when it comes to routines and will set an example of how to take care of themselves such as eating right or meditation.

Chiron in the Seventh House – With this position, Chiron teaches the 7th House person how to heal when it comes to relationships. A past wound inflicted by a friend or a lover might continue to haunt the 7th House person, but Chiron will help them face their fears and move on. The lessons learned with this synastry aspect can make the 7th House person more confident in themselves. They will learn that they can still feel worthy even if they are alone.

Chiron in the Eighth House – A very powerful place, similar to the 12th House connection in synastry. The Chiron person teaches the 8th House person how to rekindle their relationship with themselves as well as their possessions. Chiron’s presence can be alleviating as you connect and become more in tune with the lessons of the 8th House. An energizing synastry aspect that can lead to incredible growth if both parties cooperate and learn from their experience.

Chiron in the Ninth House – Fear of the spiritual or the overall philosophies and ideologies of others will be the dominant themes with this synastry aspect. Chiron is here to change the 9th House person’s perspective on the world. Whatever past wounds were inflicted by those in prominent positions relating to the 9th House, Chiron mends and unleashes new methods of thought that will allow the 9th House person to reconnect with the spiritual and abandon fears of higher learning.

Chiron in the Tenth House – The wounds here will revolve taking center stage and the 10th House person knowing their worth when they are in the employee position. Chiron teaches the 10th House person how to lead, take charge and stand up for themselves. This is a synastry aspect that promotes mastery of power. The 10th House person will learn how to relate with their employees once they reach the top of the chain thanks to the teachings of Chiron.

Chiron in the Eleventh House – In the 11th House, Chiron teaches the native the meaning of friendships, connecting and the collective. The 11th House person might have experienced some inconveniences with friendships or other social interactions in the past, but Chiron here can serve as a source of empowerment like a Mars placement. It will be a relationship focused on changing the world together. The native learns to reconnect without fear.

Chiron in the Twelfth House – A relationship focused on healing through the spiritual. The Chiron person will be the one to awaken the 12th House person’s hidden fears and traumas. Both parties will experience the anxieties and the beauty of the 12th House together. This is one that binds and renews as the 12th House person begins to learn to move freer in the world without as much guilt and pain.

Synastry: Chiron in the 8th

With Chiron in this house, the native will feel the impact of the Chiron person awakening the darker parts of their psyche. This relationship will resurface some past pains that have to still be worked through in order for the 8th House person to heal and move on. The Chiron person will seem like a destabilizing force in the beginning of the relationship, a whirlwind of chaos brought to the surface, but then there is the light at the end of the tunnel. The 8th House person will find it in their best interest to be introspective about what it is the Chiron person is here to represent. Both parties will have to dive back into their past that links to their early childhood development. The trends from that period will be resurfaced as well as any fears that both partners will have to face and heal through it.

Depending on the willingness of both partners to face challenges together, this can be a powerful placement that will help both people discover ways to bring balance to their foundation and security. Discussions about money will be important to both since the 8th House represents that which is tied with sex, finance and protection. It is important for a relationship to have partners focused on providing safety, communication and healing. Walking through the trials and tribulations of the eight house together and with Chiron’s presence there teaching, those with this synastry aspect can get through it all in the long run, as long as they can communicate and have a willingness to understand each other without fear and love in their hearts.

Astrological Transits: Outer Planets

Pluto Transits: Pain, challenges and transformations. This is a transit not for the lighthearted. With the conjunction, depending on the house transiting Pluto is in, you will experience a powerful force destabilizing your world. It’s almost as if you are standing along in an unknown area in the darkness and are trying to see which way to go. The square and opposition forced you to face challenges, even if you have been avoiding or prepping for them, they will still feel sudden and painful. This is a time for necessary growth to shape you for years to come. The transits happening in the Angular Houses serve to push us to reach a new level of consciousness. We are no longer the same after dealing with Pluto, there is no turning back. Our new persona wields the strength to face challenges in the future.

Saturn Transits: Mentally crippling, challenging but you end with a powerful tool after the transit. Self discovery and discipline are acquired. Here we are faced with where we have failed to thrive and we learn the harsh lessons after the transit. If we fail, we continue to learn until it sticks to us. This is a transit for growth, introspection and self love. The gifts that you receive will allow for you to not fall back into old patterns. Saturn conjunctions to personal planets make you work. Stopping is not an option, especially when there is a conjunction with the Sun. Venus makes you care about loyalty and self control, Moon restricts you from feeling emotions you have been trying to bury. A Saturn conjunction with Mercury makes you more inclined to think before you speak. Oppositions and squares teach you to learn about balance, self control and organization.

Neptune Transits: A literal dream state. Foggy memory, hard to stay focused and motivated. These transits are pleasant for those who want to escape the real world because they present a glamorized version of reality. The lessons here are to face the hardships, accept the pain you feel and to release thoughts from the past. Stop glamorizing the past and learn to live in the present. Face your fears and tackle challenges with a clear mind and open eyes. This is a transit where you’ll encounter charlatans and when natal Venus is aspected by transiting Neptune, we will idealize most of the people who we may be interested in becoming romantically involved with. It can become challenging when the natal Sun is conjunct, Square or Opposing Neptune because we can become more forgiving towards people who do not deserve it. Learn your limits and set boundaries during this transit. You’ll become more aware of the people around you after it’s over.

Uranus Transits: Unexpected news, relocation, new people. For those who like stability and fear change, this transit can give you a dose of anxiety and fear. This transit helps us to deal with the unexpected. We learn to cut ties, trust our decision making. Uranus alleviates the pressures felt in the House it is transiting. I personally enjoy Uranus transits because it allows you to remove any blockages in energy, paving the way for better things. When it conjuncts your Sun, you feel a burst of energy that is challenging at first because it can feel like you’re in the middle of a storm but once the clouds clear and the rain stops, you see a new and better perspective. The Moon and Venus connections promote change in relationships or overall growth. Mercury allows you to explore new ways of thinking. The Opposition and Square are not as challenging as Pluto and Saturn but if you are against change, it can feel painful. Embrace the changes that come with these Uranus transits that aspect your personal planets because you will look back and be mesmerized with who you’ve become.

Chiron Transits: Chiron is a special one. It is not an outer planet but a comet. It’s influence is very similar to an outer planet because it moves at a slower pace than personal ones. Astrologers will emphasize how Chiron also teaches lessons and allows us to find the perfect path to healing. This transit is filled with heavy energy because it digs deep into our psyche allowing for a new method of processing things we have avoided that have caused us pain in the past. This transit wants you to come face to face with whatever trauma is hidden in the House it is transiting as well as the House it is aspecting with your personal planets. You are pressured to find a form of release or therapy to handling issues. People will go to therapists, seek Yoga instructors or start to write, paint, sing as outlets to clear out their trauma. Chiron teaches us how to live with our failures, our demons and how to confront fears. It tells us what is hidden in the shadows, it shows us what we need to do and it is up to us to find good methods to clearing out trauma. This transit can allow you to become a mentor yourself because you have endured and survived. Expect a new sense of strength and power after the transit. You will feel lighter and freer.

Eros in Synastry

We enter the month of February, with lust, love and passion. The year started with powerful and forward thinking energy that will assist in elevating us both spiritually and subconsciously. Valentine’s day is approaching and Mars will enter sensual Taurus, involving Venusian themes to this tie of year. Venus will be in the sign of Capricorn; a Venus sign I find to be underrated, since Capricorn represents stability and commitment. These two planets making an aspect on Valentines Day inspires us to be more committed, to push forward for a cause and to open our hearts. With the Sun in Aquarius, we will be inspired to take a leap and play with our luck. Eros in Synastry seems appropriate to discuss for this time of year. It is desire, it is passion and love. Eros thrills, scares and creates intense bonds. There is the potential to take things to another realm when the aspects are favorable. It is a love that is not as binding or otherworldly as Valentine but can cause as much passion and desire as Venus.

Eros in Synastry but focusing on the easy aspects such as Trines, Sextiles and Conjunctions. I will make another post on oppositions and squares.

Eros/Sun – Eros feels comfortable with the energy of the Sun. They are able to express their desire because the sun sheds some light on the thoughts of Eros. Here we have an accepting and compassionate relationship. Both parties will feel loved in each other’s presence, making for soothing and loving connections as well as experiences.

Eros/Moon – There is a psychological connection here, a telepathic union as both parties bond emotionally and spiritually. The Moon is Eros’ confidant, as they grow and evolve. Trust grows with time and acceptance as well. It is possible that the Moon encourages Eros to express themselves through creative venues. This is a bond that may seem magical and unbreakable.

Eros/Mercury — When these two forces unite, they will feel a strong connection through communicating. Words take on a new meaning with this synastry aspect. The imagination expands and creative inspiration comes naturally. This is an aspect that can allow for both parties to share without holding back. Words heal, empower and intrigue.

Eros/Venus — Love incarnate here. Passionate and trusting, not clouded in dark desire but tends to promote good intentions. Both parties feel connected and it can even grant them devoted love. Eros desires Venus and Venus clings to Eros, they both need each other, want each other and whenever they connect the spark comes through.

Eros/Mars — Lust and passion for these two powerful forces. Mars pushes Eros to express what they want and need on a physical level. The relationship feels ignited when these two come together. A roller coaster of emotions, the feelings of chaos and the desires that are pushed to the surface. This is tumultuous and exciting but when it all ends it crumbles hard.

Eros/Jupiter — Jupiter understands the needs of Eros and provides a haven for them. Eros sees Jupiter as their confidant and trusts them. This is a union that motivates Eros to express themselves and show their desires. Passions might need to be controlled with this placement, since Jupiter can act like a drug for Eros.

Eros/Neptune — With this bond, Eros feels at peace when in Neptune’s presence. They might feel blinded to the truths and will persist on with their beliefs. Neptune will feel empowered by Eros, who will contribute to some aspects of delusion if both parties persist on seeing things through unrealistic lenses. There is a subtle ache with this placement that feels like a dreamlike fantasy is being lived through by both.

Eros/Pluto — Powerful and transformative as typical Pluto aspects tend to be. Eros is changed by Pluto, their old shell breaks and they take on new philosophies. Here we have both parties who hunger for each other and are not afraid to challenge the other person. Fear is not an option, instead they each promote the evolution of the self.

Eros/Saturn — Saturn teaches Eros about restriction. Eros sees Saturn as a mentor or guardian. The natives both learn to evolve from simple minded desires and they seek new ways to grow and love. This connection involves patience and respect. Both parties transform in a more powerful way than the Pluto connection because it will take many years for the bond to break. The residue follows them even after it all ends.

Eros/Uranus — It is felt with a spark. Uranus is attracted to Eros and sees them as the person that they have desired for. This is a consuming aspect for both since they will be fascinated by one another and every moment they have together serves as a new life changing experience. Eros carves their presence in the mind of Uranus, making them lust for them as time goes on.

Eros/Chiron — Eros grows and heals with Chiron and vice versa. This may feel karmic and painful but both parties appreciate the experience over time. Lessons here will be learned and carried on by both parties. The wonderful thing about this aspect, especially with the conjunction is that love is brought into the lives of both, even if it feels exhausting and draining, eventually both feel fulfilled and transformed.

Eros/Eros* — Explosive since there could be a lot in common between the two. There is a powerful level of understanding and both parties might feel like they have encountered their soulmate. This is a lovely connection, since it helps to grow the love that both share for each other. They desire to be close to each other, they want to promote the best for one another and when they are together, passion blinds them both.

Venus Retrograde & Harsh Aspects (Opposition and Squares)

Venus Retrograde Aspects

Venus rx square the Ascendant: Take things easy and learn how to relax. This is a time to take on a more observant and analytical approach. If you are not feeling satisfied with the self, use this moment to rekindle that romance or start a new one with you. Venus gives many gifts and if you are willing to embrace the tides of self love, you will be handsomely rewarded.

Venus rx square/opposition to natal Midheaven: The spotlight might feel heavy in this transit, so make sure to think before you speak and act accordingly. Your impulsivity will be toned down if you understand what this retrograde is trying to teach you and you will learn how to master the art of being socially graceful. Your public persona will be met with some challenges but you will thrive afterwards. Don’t be afraid and stay confident in you. Patience is a much needed virtue here.

Venus rx square/opposition to natal IC: Conflicts at home can come about or just within your social circles. Do not fret, this is just a needed shake up that will strengthen your bonds to your roots. Venus rx square/opposition natal Descendant: You will be forced to learn what it means to have balance in a relationship; be it friendship or romantic. There will be moments when you assert to others what you want and you will strive to get your way. Learn to meet people half way and make some sacrifices on occasion. This is a time to understand yourself and worth, fight any insecurities you may have in relationships and establish a new outlook with your relationships.

Venus rx square/opposition to the natal Sun: Impatience and lack of drive would summarize what this transit will bring for you. When Venus makes hard aspects to a personal planet, the effects will feel dreamlike. Try to practice being diplomatic and understanding. We know you’re awesome, so don’t throw it in people’s faces. Use this opportunity to help others that may need your help.

Venus rx square/opposition to natal Moon: Your emotional response might be at full speed ahead. Take a breather from the world and find ways to recharge and energize. This can be an emotionally draining period for you but if you need a good cry, don’t be ashamed. If you cannot vocalize your feelings, write them but make sure to have safe outlets for them. Meditate, laugh and enjoy the transit as best you can because it will teach many needed lessons.

Venus rx square/opposition to natal Mercury: There could be a cloudy or hazy way of thinking during this transit. Be careful with what you say in a moment of intense anger because your mouth will sting. Focus on projecting any harsh emotions into writing because it would be embraced more. If you were penning something prior to the retrograde, go back to it and finish.

Venus rx square/opposition to natal Mars: Your drive might be strong now but you lack the fuel to finish it. Don’t get discouraged, keep fighting for your plans and goals if you have already set your eyes on them. Tone down on the anger and jealousy that may arise. Focus on you and not what others have. This is the time to learn what makes you incredibly awesome.

Venus rx square/opposition natal Venus: Do not think that the world is against you, it’s all going to be in your head and this transit will intensify those thoughts. Learn to relax, reach out to others or your partner but don’t feel as if you aren’t loved by those dear to you. However, if there are people that are not showing you a balanced love, release them and go forth. Venus will give you the strength and fruits after the transit.

Venus rx square/opposition to natal Jupiter: You might feel like things are not going your way, so you need to reward yourself by indulging in unnecessary items. Do not spend on yourself to fill a void and do not indulge in negative things. Avoid binging on things that are harmful to you. Relax, meditate or take on a new workout regime. Do learn more and try to expand mentally. Focus on what compels you to react a certain way and work from there to cut the need to spend.

Venus rx square/opposition to natal Neptune: This is a good time to process what your mind is producing and think things over and over before making any drastic decisions. Neptune wants us to escape and Venus makes things more glamorous, with this square, what you see is not what you get so take things slowly and think them through. Work your way out of the Piscean fog first and make decisions after the transit.

Venus rx square/opposition to natal Saturn: Saturn always likes to make things more relaxed and in that state of relaxation, we can let the paranoid get us. The world might seem cold and unloving in this transit. Do not let it get to you, go out and socialize. You don’t feel like talking to people? Take on the hermit mode and reflect/focus on you. But if you feel like you want to go out but aren’t comfortable enough, make the effort. You’ll feel rejuvenated after.

Venus rx square/opposition to natal Uranus: A good time to make drastic changes so you don’t fall into the dramatic side of the transit. Many will he intimidated by your erratic nature this transit. Your decisions will be on the verge of the extreme. Learn to take your time and pace yourself, even if things seem out of your control. Uranus demands changes but Venus wants some stability, especially when it’s in a fixed sign. Take it easy and learn how to accept and embrace stability in your life.

Venus rx square/opposition to natal Pluto: Control issues come to play in this transit. You will learn to understand your jealousy and face any insecurities. Venus Retrograde will give you the guidance to conquer your fears and any self doubt you may need to face. Shatter the destructive side you may have that will lead to self sabotage and learn to trust yourself. After this transit you’ll feel more secure and confident; assuming you met the challenges during the retrograde period head on.

Venus rx square/opposition to natal Chiron: Doubt when it comes to how love manifests in your life will be an obstacle you need to confront. Any Chiron contacts will make us feel weakened but it also gives us the fortitude needed to move forward. Here the native needs to find a balance, to love themselves and others in a way that does not involve them sacrificing their dignity. Use love to heal yourself first, use love to find answers needed, use love to rid yourself of any negativity so that you may blossom further after this transit.

Venus Retrograde Aspects

Venus Retrograde Aspects

Venus rx conjunct natal IC: Home will be a truly comforting experience during the retrograde. Loved ones will flock to you or you might feel compelled to make your home more beautiful. Pursuits in finding work associated with being a freelancer could cross your mind, but be careful because this could just be retrograde ideas brewing (take action after the rx is over).

Venus rx conjunct natal descendant: Partnerships are strengthened and whatever you do not see working out will be cut out of your life. Overall, a beautiful romantic period and if you are single, this is a good time to reconnect with friends. Your aura is illuminating and you easily brighten up people’s lives; just make sure not to exhaust them with your personal problems.

Venus rx conjunct the natal Sun: You will blend with the light and power of the sun, forming a dynamic burst that might blind those nearby. If the Sun is close to the Midheaven, you might even attract some fame and luck during this transit. Either way, you will be fortunate during this transit. Chiron in the Natal Chart

I’ve recently started to read up on Chiron and have wondered how it impacts our charts. Looking at how these transits have impacted me, I am really noticing a trend with each planet. However, Chiron’s influence is also powerful as I have noticed recently once the asteroid moved into the sign of Aries. For those that do not know, Chiron acts like washing machine (a rustic example, but it’s easier to explain). When you start the cycle, the asteroid has moved into a planet, when the water is rising, you feel it’s shadow effects and then when the machine starts to spin, it is when the chaos begins in your mind. Old memories can be pulled out from underneath, everything blends, and you feel as if you are in a disarray. If in the natal chart, Chiron is in a Mercury sign (Gemini or Virgo), you might feel the power of the transits because that nervous energy will fuel and ignite your mind. For those who have Chiron in either Pisces or Jupiter natally, you might want the Chiron transits because they can feel liberating, like a nice ordering of problems, a much-needed purge that leads to a cleansing period, ready for you to tackle them. Your machine settings are in gentle, compared to the chaotic turbulence spin cycle from the Geminis and Virgos.

Chiron in Aries/Chiron in the 1st House – You are a self-saboteur. You do not feel worthy of anything and you go out of your way to ruin things that can bring you happiness. You project your self-hatred and manifest it in intimate relationships. Because you cannot find a value in yourself, you also harm those potential romantic relationships knowingly and directly. Learn to love and appreciate who you are. There is strength in you, there is power.

Chiron in Taurus/Chiron in the 2nd House – There are past wounds to heal involving your self-worth. You might not feel comfortable expressing who you are or do not see any form of potential in yourself. Possessions become synonymous with your self-esteem. This can push you to hoard as many items as possible. Learn to let go and to believe in yourself. The items of greatest value are not seen in the physical realm, but in the spiritual.

Chiron in Gemini/Chiron in the 3rd House – Expressing yourself will be challenging. From a very young age you doubted your intellect by simply assuming you were not good or smart enough. This compelled you to become a voracious learner on your own. When the teachers gave up on you, you pursued knowledge on your own. Even if you manage to achieve the highest forms of educational degrees, you will continue to feel inferior.

Chiron in Cancer/Chiron in the 4th House – Conflicts with the mother. You can have tensions at home with maternal figures. There seems to be a pain that cannot fully heal, even if you have worked through some resolved issues. Letting go is part of the hardest process with Chiron placements. Open your heart and accept those that love you, learn to give them the love you have desired especially in your home.

Chiron in Leo/Chiron in the 5th House – You might not want to be involved in social events; there could be some guilt relating to enjoying yourself and experiencing any pleasures life throws your way. Practicing a cautious approach to things is also your forte. There is a creative side that goes untapped out of fear. Make sure to show and let others experience the wonders your imagination can bring to the masses. There should never be a reason to lock away the rays of the sun when the world is shrouded in darkness.

Chiron in Virgo/Chiron in the 6th House – Very much like Chiron in Aries, this placement can become their own worst enemy. Which is why they end up being one of the most generous souls around. They channel that self-hatred into going out of their way to help others. The native needs to understand that they are worthy of happiness, success and that they can one day breakout into the limelight. When they have evolved, they will use their voice to service others on a grand scale.

Chiron in Libra/Chiron in the 7th House – Independence takes on a major theme because the native does not feel worthy of being in a relationship. Things might feel off when you first connect with someone. Connections can feel Karmic. Here the native experiences transformations with each partnership, be it romantic or platonic. They will learn to move on from their fear of being partnered up. Once past karmic debts have been repaid, they may even find a soulmate, but it all depends on how willing the native is to let go and be loved.

Chiron in Scorpio/Chiron in the 8th House – This is a tough placement for Chiron, since the wounds can turn psychological, like those in the 4th and 12th Houses. Here the native fights its shadow self, wondering how they can overcome and reach the next phase. Chiron must fight here and it can feel like fighting towards survival in the beginning, but in time, the native gets more astute and transforms. Several incarnations in their current lives will allow them to become victorious, helping them move on and be free of the chains in their mind.

Chiron in Sagittarius/Chiron in the 9th House – Chiron is exalted in the 9th House since it is in its natural domicile. Here the student becomes the teacher and vice versa. When in doubt, the teacher reverts back to the student and continues their mission of learning. This is a placement that allows the native to dissect and learn everything around them. They will have a greater appreciation of how people interact, how history partakes into our lives and how we are all connected in the grander scheme of things.

Chiron in Capricorn/Chiron in the 10th House – Your faith in your work ethic could suffer from a crushing blow to the ego the moment a superior tells you that you have made some errors. Learning to accept constructive criticisms will help you in the long run. Do not feel weak or inferior because you are not at the top. This is a placement that can help inspire others to reach their true potential. Chiron near the Midheaven can bring about a higher purpose. Once you have healed from within, you can teach the world as well.

Chiron in Aquarius/Chiron in the 11th House – Being part of groups feels like a bit of a torment. You want to express your individuality to the masses, but you fear not being accepted. In order to move on from this, just believe in who you are and if people do not accept it, let them be. No use hiding the light you can bring to the world out of fear of not being accepted.

Chiron in Pisces/Chiron in the 12th House – Wounds that are inexplicable might surface throughout your life. This placement reminds me of Saturn in the 12th, churning the unwanted memories, wondering how to make amends. Your role will be focused on helping those that need you. Lend a helping hand or listen to them, you will impact their lives in wonderful ways.

Synastry: Chiron in the 7th

When Chiron touches your descendant in synastry, it does not necessarily mean that you will marry this person. Most likely, this will be a very transformative point in your life. Chiron represents a wound and and we will have to learn how to heal on our own, especially in a relationship. Your partner will teach you things that will help you understand what it is you will look for in your next relationship. It is quite possible that you will learn about the value of independence and help you build on it. If your self-esteem is low and you feel dependent on your partner, this placement can help you become stronger and learn to become autonomous. This is the defining point in your life where you will learn the importance of happiness and how to reach it.

On the flip side, if the relationship is still in the honey moon phase after a year, you are both in it for the long run. The Chiron aspect will be there to teach you both how to grow and evolve into better versions of each other. There will be an unbreakable bond between you two. Your deepest pain will be understood by one another. Here, in a harmonious relationship, Chiron can make you both feel as if you are soulmates or have merged to become one. A lot like Pluto, this placement can be powerful and transformative once we learn where our wound is and how we can mend ourselves (emotionally and spiritually) for the next phase.
